In Kiev for visitors opened the Museum of Modern Art and the St. Andrew's Church — 22.02.2010
Podol inaugurated Museum of Modern Art of Ukraine. The exhibition area of 3500 sq.m. collected the best works of the masters of Ukrainian art of the twentieth and the beginning of the twentieth century. According to the press service of the museum collection, which was formed about 20 years, hasmore than 4500 paintings, drawings, sculpture, decorative art, and iconography of Ukraine. It contains works by most of the art schools and trends in all regions of the country. Permanent exhibition willupdated every two years. In the nearest plans of the founders of the unique museum Ukrainian stone and a child's room, personal exhibitions of known and emerging Ukrainian artists, as well as the preliminary organization of exhibitions abroad.
Also a celebration of St. Andrew opened the doors for the St. Andrew's Church. As part of the reconstruction of the church workers established under building 370 towers. At the second phase of work plannedeliminate self-sown trees, lay the grass cover with decorative plants, strengthen the foundation, as well as to restoration work where there is a need.
